We are so excited - just a couple of hours ago we booked our RTW tickets :-) What a feeling - actually all feelings are covered. From pure excitement to "jesus" is this really the right thing to do???? But it will be - it's great to discover new places, get to know other cultures and broaden our horizons. And finally, just to spend the money we have saved up for so long... :-)

The route is booked as follows:

17/09/2008 London to Hong Kong
24/09/2008 Hong Kong to Hanoi
18/12/2008 Singapore to Cairns
20/02/2009 Melbourne to Auckland
25/02/2009 Auckland to Santiago de Chile
20/08/2009 Sao Paulo Brazil to London

Well, that's the route for the moment. We will see how it goes - all subject to changes ;-)))

Right, the money is in our account and waits to get spent...:-))))

At the moment we are planning to travel to the following countries:

Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay & Uruguay.

We are in the process of finding reasonable priced round-the-world tickets - not that easy anymore as we are a bit toooo old (yes, you read correctly). If you are younger than 26 and still a student - believe me, you get a great discount. Moreover, we need to buy clothes, shoes and all the other stuff you need for such a trip. Jesus - I see my money going....

Anyway, we are very excited what we will experience during this time. It's great to have guts to just do it.
